Nautilus Lanzarote is a 4 Star Tourist Apartment Complex located in Matagorda, Puerto del Carmen, just five minutes from the sea, and 10 minutes by car from the airport.
The complex boasts two beautiful pools (one especially for children), a supermarket and an attractive garden area which counts with a mini golf. Both pools are heated to approximately 22-24ºC.
It has 70 one and two-bedroomed apartments, 47 of which are adapted for wheelchair users. Most one bedroom adapted apartments are in the garden area of the complex, accessible by a sloped ramp with handrail.
Our modern, light apartments each have their own furnished terrace with chairs, table, parasol and sun beds and an internal patio with a drying area.

It also has 2 suites, the Telluric Suite, which showcases stunning minimalist design and was designed by renowned architect Jesus Castillo Oli and the bright, warm and cozy Oceanic Suite, designed by renowned artist Pepa Poch in collaboration with Projekta Studio.
OCEANIC SUITE
Nautilus Lanzarote is unique in three ways:
- Since 2010 we have been the only complex in the Canary Islands to be officially certified as barrier-free by Equalitas Vitae which campaigns to eliminate architectural barriers and promote accessible tourism for all across Europe.
- Since 2004 we have been recognised as ‘Biosphere Apartments’ each year by the Institute of Responsible Tourism (ITR) for using clean energy and adopting environmentally friendly policies
- We have established Nautilus Lanzarote as a hub for Art and Culture, displaying more than 800 works of art in the apartments, around the grounds, and on land outside the complex. We also have artists in residence who stay at Nautilus in our ‘Casa del Artista’. Every apartment is decorated individually with art pieces from our collection.
Within five minutes’ walk you will reach:
- The nearest beach, awarded with a Blue Flag.
- The promenade – the longest in Europe – which stretches for kilometres and from where you can walk into the capital Arrecife (about 8 km) or into the Old Town of Puerto del Carmen (about 6 km).
- A Shopping Centre featuring lots of restaurants, bars and souvenir shops.
You will receive full details of our services and facilities upon arrival but many are listed on the Services and Facilities section of the website.
You’ll also be given a list of all items in your apartment at the check-in, allowing you to know if there is anything missing and our staff check the inventory with you at the end of your stay.
